Jock White
Jock is a marine scientist now working within the field of seaweed research in Tasmania's rapidly growing seaweed industry. Throughout his studies, he has stumbled across the wonder of seaweed in both ecosystem dynamics and its potential as a commercial product. Jock has a passion for conservation and an interest in developing innovative solutions to curb the effect of climate change. He has longed to combine his interests in surfing and seaweed to create more awareness of the marine environment by starting conversations through design.
Tom Gauden
Working full time as a builder, Tom has over 10 years experience in shaping and glassing surfboards with his company TG Surfboards.. With interests in surfing and diving and through growing up in Tasmania, Tom also shares the passion to preserve our marine environment and spread awareness of the human impacts on our oceans.
Frankie
Frankie the collie, aka ‘resin paws’, is an integral part of the GSD team. His influence has been instrumental in the suggestion of design concepts and his promotion of workplace morale.
